I believe that living aware of how we respond to ourselves and others, through our act’s thoughts and emotions, opens new possibilities in our lives. Why? Because we can choose the path we want to take. Do we want 2be present in every step we take or just walk missing the wonders along the way?
Asking myself this question and a few more, took me to search for ways of connecting deeper to myself, finding this connection in my personal spiritual practice.
Still after being so many years a regular meditator and yoga practitioner and working as a psychosocial counselor in social education, I was missing something that could help me in those particular moments, in exactly those stressful ones, that every person seems to face again and again in daily life.
The Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program (MBSR) gave me this possibility. Tools to apply in my daily life, something that opened up a new perspective to me. It led me to train myself to teach MBSR with Mindful Academy Solterreno. Since then I have help others to get through this process, motivating the persons I have worked with, through a caring and supportive, but also challenging style. Creating at the same time a safety environment, that allows people to open up and gain the
practice-benefits themselves.
Later on, an as a way to combine two of the things that I most love, and since I had more than 7 years of personal practice, I got my Yoga teacher training at Bohdiyoga International, allowing myself to share the mindfulness practice in a different and also unique way.
